Shipping Displays & Materials

When can I ship my display materials?

The Ohio Union will accept shipments beginning on January 23, 2018 and ending January 29, 2018

Please note: The Ohio Union will charge $10 per item per day for shipments arriving prior to January 23, 2018.  Also, you are discouraged from shipping materials overnight for the career fair, as packages may not arrive by the guaranteed time.

How do I label the items I ship?

Securely attach a label addressed as indicated below. Remove all previous address labels.  Failure to properly label packages may result in lost packages or package delivery problems, as there are other events the day prior to the SWE Career Fair. The Society of Women Engineers, Engineering Career Services, the Ohio Union, and The Ohio State University are not responsible for mislabeled, misplaced, or lost packages.

IMPORTANT!!!  To assist in storing and locating packages sent to the Ohio Union, please complete the Receiver Information fields of the Ohio Union Shipping and Receiving Form, as follows:

How do I arrange for return shipments?

Representatives from FedEx and UPS will be available to accept packages at the end of the career fair. Forms for return shipping should be filled out and printed ahead of time and shipped with your items to the career fair. A limited supply of forms will also be available the day of the career fair at the Employer Registration table on the first floor; however, we strongly suggest making arrangements prior to the day of the fair. Since the career fair does not end until 6:00pm, no packages will be shipped overnight, but should be picked up by FedEx or UPS the following day.  If you need the items you brought to the career fair the next day for another event, please take them with you at the conclusion of the career fair.

All packages that are to be shipped should have a completed label that is securely attached.  Your representatives will need to place the return shipping items in the designated spaces labeled "EMPLOYER MATERIALS DROP-OFF." The Society of Women Engineers, Engineering Career Services, the Ohio Union, and The Ohio State University are not responsible for mislabeled, misplaced, or lost packages.

If you prefer to ship with carriers other than FedEx or UPS, you must make your own arrangements. The SWE Career Fair team is not able to arrange shipment with other carriers.
