Engineering Career Services (ECS) is the primary resource connecting Ohio State engineering students and employers. ECS helps graduating students at the BS, MS, and PhD levels to connect with employers seeking career candidates, while the Engineering Cooperative Education and Internship Program (ECIP) helps undergraduates starting as early as the sophomore year to develop the skills needed to successfully connect with employers who want to hire co-ops and interns.
ECS is here to help you with all facets of your job search. Once registered, you'll have access to the hundreds of employers and thousands of interview opportunities that pass through our office every year. Unlike traditional hiring venues like the commercial job boards or online ads, the employers recruiting engineering talent through ECS are here specifically because they want to hire Ohio State engineering students—just like you.
In addition to our robust on-campus recruiting and job posting system, ECS provides personalized assistance with resumes, job search documents, interviewing, job search strategies, offer review, salary negotiation, and more! We also offer workshops, facilitate employer networking opportunities, and provide educational materials on all things job search. Whether you are trying to land the perfect internship or co-op—or about to graduate, we have services to meet your needs.
87% of all Ohio State engineering graduates reporting full-time employment had used Engineering Career Services.
