What is Needed for Admission?


Did you miss out on picking up your printed name badge at ECS? No problem! The name badges that were already printed will be available at Student Registration (Round Meeting Room - 3rd Floor) beginning at 11:30am today. If you didn't click Join Event by the deadline, you can still attend the career fair! We'll have blank name badges available at Student Registration. You'll just need to write your First Name, Last Name, and Major.

 As a reminder, the SWE Career Fair is on February 5th and the first hour (1pm to 2pm) of the career fair, is reserved for graduating and graduate students seeking full time positions. The career fair is open to all students from 2pm to 6pm.

How do I register for the SWE Career Fair?

In order to pick up your printed name badge on the dates listed below, you must click on the Join Event button in Handshake by Wednesday, January 29, 2020 to register for the career fair. You will know that you are registered when the Join Event button changes to Registered.

When and where can I get the REQUIRED name badge?

If you clicked on the Join Event button in Handshake by the Wednesday, January 29, 2020 deadline, your name badge will be available for pick up at Engineering Career Services (199 Hitchcock Hall) between 9:00am to 3:00pm on the dates listed below.  You MUST bring your BuckID, as you will need it to pick up your name badge!

Can't come to Main Campus on these dates? No problem! Click on the Join Event button in Handshake by Wednesday, January 29, 2020 and your name badge will be available for you to pick up at Student Registration on the day of the career fair.

If you do not click on the Join Event button in Handshake by the Wednesday, January 29, 2020 deadline or if you forget your name badge, you will be able to handwrite your name badge at Student Registration (Round Room on the 3rd floor of the Ohio Union) between the hours of 11:30am to 5:45pm on the day of the fair. You must bring your BuckID to Student Registration.

What do I need for admission to the SWE Career Fair?

 Your BuckID and your name badge will serve as your admission ticket. 

Where can I find information about the employers registered for the SWE Career Fair?

You will find the complete information about the employer attendees in your Handshake account. Click on Events in your top menu bar and then click on Find Career Fairs. Enter "2020 SWE Career Fair" in the keywords box.

Is the Career Fair Plus app still available?

Yes!  Employer information is available on your iOS or Android phone.  Please search Career Fair Plus on the iOS App Store and Google Play marketplace.  The app is free!
